First taste of an Ultra 100! Paced a fellow Swamp (John) during the Bear 100 last night. I did 2 legs with him. First one took us out of Franklin Basin to the Logan River Trail Head and the second one took us from Logan River to Beaver Mtn Resort (Yurt). These were miles 61 - 76 for John. Beautiful night the stars were bright - I also saw the coolest meteor I've ever seen it burned good. We started my first leg at 11:13 pm and Finished with the second leg at 4:33 AM. We had some serious grinder climbs on our sections. I had a lot of fun and it was great seeing all the glow sticks, reflective tape and people wandering around in the dark. We are a curious bunch. The pace wasn't much to write home about, but I kept John moving and we picked off about 10 people on our second leg!!

Sounds like you had a great run, sounds fun. I thought you might be running the Striders 7 today.

Sometimes us runners are not so crazy to be outside running at weird times, the meteor sounds cool.
