Inspired by G' I decided to hit my little Snowbasin half marathon again this morning. Driving over to wheelers past all the racers getting ready to compete in the Utah Tri in Eden this AM. Pineview looked cold.. but I think they all have on those wetsuits that almost propel you through the water...

Cold at the TH. Tried to keep the pace honest on the climb up to Art Nord. Canyon is awesome this time of year. On the grinder up east fork I knew I wouldn't be challenging my 2 hr mark didn't have the pep in my legs. Reached the upper snowbasin greenpond TH in 1 hr. I'm really liking the next upper section of Green Pond over to Ski Hill. It's about 2.5 miles and gains another 600-800 ft. felt great cruising up this section - hit school hill and took a Gu bomb.

Tried to stay consistent on the traverse over to Maples and Wheelers - as expected once on upper wheelers ran into a herd of mtn bikers. But Ice Box always delivers.

Peace. Time 2:22 Vert 3000

On the upper GreenPond trail.

I'm not even going to comment on the sweet morning ski shot of the previous post, but awesome run today even though you should have come down here and let me try to run you down. i need to hit that loop sometime and then go see our cousin and his pizza shop in O town.
