We awoke to snow, rain, and sleet. So much for packing some hot coco and breakfast items.. we had camp broken down and we headed out quick. Made our way through Fravert Basin and a huge ascent up to Frigid Air Pass. Again Scar and HD way up the climb, Thanks for G to take pitty on me and keep me on the right path. Down a little scamper and then another ascent up to Maroon pass. Hitting this climb was sweet... except seven miles down west maroon drainage awaited.. and the puddle of Crater Lake. Perfect times. Cursed almost everystep, but loved every minute.
