Did an hour of intense core pilates cross training with an instructor. Highly recommend these workouts if you are looking for something.

6 good miles. Chad and I ran some of the Shore line trails above the east bench in Ogden. Chad has introduced me to a killer hill about 2.5 miles into this run.....aughhh. We ended up doing a 7:46 /mile pace. Not to bad considering....

Was regulated to the tread at Golds today after work. 4 miles about a 7:00 pace. with a 1.0 incline. Felt good. Looking forward to some trial runs this week.

Did some laps on the Ben Lomond High School track after work. Wanted to get some split times I ended up doing about an 8 minute warm up mile and then hit a 7:12 2nd mile / 7:03 3rd mile and then cooled down with another 8 minute 4th mile. The 2nd and 3rd miles were feeling good. Could have pushed them a little bit more, but lunch was feeling heavy....

Ah... Ran 6 miles on Ogden's East Bench with a local legend. Logan. It was a good run. The hill at mile 2 about did me in. Had to stop half way up for a little pit stop. Other than that it felt really good. Other than slowing Logan down. Looking forward to some more runs together.

sounds like a good one how'd the Legend like the run? the one i did today was good, ultimately we can link it to the one you did and probably make it a solid 70-75min. run, with some good terrain a bit of everything!

Let me know if you are thinking about a saturday run...i need to work on gettting a sitter!

Went to Ben Lomond Track after work for some speed work. I got there and found out it was chilly...but I pressed forward. I ended up doing 4 X 1600's with a 400 walk in between the miles.

1- 8:36

2- 6:52

3- 6:17

4- 6:43

Total distance was 4.12 after the warm up and cooldown. Missed you Chad and Logan!

Good workout. Why was the first one much slower than the rest? Also, I would suggest jogging between each one instead of walking. It seems to give me a better workout when I do this. Just a suggestion!

Good suggestion.. I think the first one was because I used it as my warm up mile and my body temp was declining..and the black crows were circling. Thanks for the suggestions.

Good Run with the Boothman! We went up the rainbow trail to the east bench and up strong canyon and back down. 7.27 miles avg 8:48 with a couple big climbs. 4 of the miles 7:33 or less pace. Good Stuff. A little stiff still from the pilates workout. Not much of a recovery run. will take tomorrow off.

Got out to a good morning run with Chad B. and his running mate Oakley. We hit the North Arm trail and then cut back across Pienview. We split around the 4 mile mark and I looped up past the Eden Cemetery. I ran into Shane M. the current OV 50 champ and finished the last 1.5 with him. Good week of running for me. Hoping to keep it up going into Thanksgiving next week. Total run time 52.53.

I have a monthly membership. So unless I stop it it will just renew every month. The new gym at the junction is pretty nice. After a run it's good to go sit in the spa or steam room or Sauna.... We're hitting the trail tomorrow. You should think about it.

Went for a great run after work with Chad. We did the Rainbow gardens loop up around strong canyon. There were still some slick parts due to the storm the other day. It was the inaugural run with the garmin 205 (early christmas gift - they are on sale at rei.com) it worked and felt great.

Went on a wet semi dark beat down trail run with Chad Logan and Shane. Time 1:12. I was hopping I was more recovered from my case of the goo on Tuesday, but as we ascended Strong canyon I was quick to find my grasping for air and spewing mucus from my facial orafics told me different. It was a fun run though. I should probably take it  easy the next couple of days.After we finished Logan put on his gloves and headed off into the darkness..

Well - I challenged myself to a Booth Tm time trial... Here were my splits the first 2 miles were with a 1.0 incline and then I flatted it out for the other 3 miles. 1 - 7:30   2. 7:16    3. 6:58   4. 6:31   5. 6:40... They actually felt pretty good.

 

Oh - our group actually got into MOAB! ya baby! The bad news is the other 2 groups didn't...augh!

Let's get caught up on yesterday... I didn't get a run in, but was able to spend the day up at snowbasin! It was sweet. It snowed most of the day, so the runs just kept getting better.

This morning I went to pilates and had a great work out. As Chad and I were driving over there up in North Fork it looked like they got about a foot of snow last night.
