Ran in the inaugural Focus Four Run! This run was put together in memory of the 4 Focus employee's that died in a plane crash in Guatemala while traveling during a humanitarian project.

They did a great job organizing and putting on the race. I think they said they had about 250 runners. I've been nursing a strained calf so, I wasn't sure how fast I should go out or exactly how to run the race... Felt good at the start and with Booth itching to blow outta the gates I took off faster then I probably should'a. My garmin had the race at (3.93) so all the mile markers were .05 to .10 in front of my times..

Mile 1: 7:39 Felt good. Breathing and leg under control.

Mile 2: 7:17 Felt good - taking advantage of some downhill on 4800

Mile 3: 7:26 Only hill on the race so I felt good with this spilt. I slowed it up on the climb because my leg tightened up on me.

Mile 4: 6:16 at (.93) Turned it on a bit here because I needed to pass a few people. Paying the piper now though because my calf is throbbing!!

Another bummer for the race I got a blister on my left foot from my new Adrenalines.. not good. With STGM a few weeks out I may be in the cheering section..

Great Race and Great people. I will definitely be back next year!! Peace.

Avg 7:18 Time 28:40 Dist (3.93) or 7:10 at 4 miles...

That was a great race. too bad about the shoes. Your calf needs a little kura dor. I went boating with my nurse and tried out some surfing.
